Here is the back (motor) side of the hub, showing the keyway and 8 titanium wheel attachment screws. Shaft hole diameter is "roughly" 0.4998 inch.

Mother said "Never bite off more than you can chew.", and this roughing mill can chew a lot. Here it is shaping the caster mounts (4 at a time).

Here's what a wrong "white point" setting in a camera can do. This is an un-retouched picture of the caster mounts and chips illuminated by an incandesent light. That's really aluminum, but one can dream...

Outrigger Caster/Mount

These soft casters are to stabilize the "pitching oscillations" that the old drag springs couldn't elliminate. The caster mount doubles as the "anti-perch" high point in case Tesla gets knocked onto its side.
